The Pokemon Company has revealed a new plush based on Mega Starmie. The company has also published a listing page of the plush that it will sell at ¥5,500 (~$33.90) on the Japanese Pokemon Center web store, although actual purchases are not available yet until July 16, 2026.
This plush will be based on the Mega Evolved form of Starmie that debuted in the 2025 Switch and Switch 2 releases of Pokemon Legends: Z-A. The Mega form is distinguished from the original Starmie by its two elongated lower limbs that also act as its legs.
The published listing indicates that these Mega Starmie plushies were made in Vietnam with polyester/POM for the outside and polyurethane foam inside each plush. This plush will not be life-sized, however, as it will only have a total height of 36 centimeters (~2’02”). The actual height of Mega Starmie, as recorded in the official Pokedex, would be 2.3 meters / 7’07”. And while the Pokedex would also record Starmie’s actual weight at 80 kg / 176.4 lbs, this plush will only weigh around 348 grams (~12.275 oz).

The Mega Starmie plush will be available for purchase at real Pokemon Center store outlets across Japan on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 10:00 AM JST (UTC+9).
