There are six new Trainee characters debuting as part of the Umamusume: Pretty Derby 2025 schedule, and one of them is the notable Summer Maruzensky alt. She appears on a banner alongside Summer Special Week alongside a Beaches, Bathing Suits, & Blazing Trails story event and was known to be one of the stronger units in the early Japanese version of the game. We’ll also see Fuji Kiseki, Gold City, Meisho Doto, and Eishin Flash debut this month.
To make things easier, here’s the October 2025 Umamusume: Pretty Derby Trainee character banner schedule for the month. Things start with Fuji Kiseki, who debuts on October 2, 2025. Remember that when each banner ends, the unit joins the general pool of units permanently.

- October 7, 2025: Gold City.
- October 14, 2025: Summer Maruzensky and Summer Special Week alts.
- October 21, 2025: Meisho Doto.

The October 2025 Umamusume: Pretty Derby schedule also includes five events. Two are Champions Meeting races, one is a Legend Races. Due to the accelerated schedule for the global release, the Half Anniversary Celebration Part 1 will also already show up. Here’s when all of those start:
- October 7-16, 2025: Champions Meeting Cancer Cup Mile race.
- October 14-27, 2025: Beaches, Bathing Suits & Blazing Trails story event.
- October 26, 2025: Half Anniversary Celebration Part 1.
