Mega Man Crossover Arrives at McDonald’s Japan - Vivek 24TIME 🎮

McDonald’s Japan has launched a new tie-in campaign featuring Capcom’s Mega Man franchise. The chain released several digital bonuses themed after the franchise in addition to using the sprites to promote the small-sized Premium Roast Ice Coffee.

Japanese customers who have My McDonald’s Rewards can exchange 100 points to obtain three Mega Man-themed mobile wallpapers. They respectively feature 8-bit sprites of Mega Man and Dr. Wily with the Japanese Rockman logo, the key artwork of Mega Man: Dual Override, and the art of Star Force Mega Man, Geo, and Omega-Xis from Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection.

In addition, McDonald’s Japan published a new Premium Version rendition of Team Nekokan’s popular fan song “Can’t Beat Air Man” with an extra promotion for the Premium Roast Ice Coffee. While the video on the official X account post is region-locked, it is widely available to watch via YouTube:

Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection is readily available worldwide on the Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. As of mid-2026, Capcom is working to release the 12th mainline classic series entry Mega Man: Dual Override for the Switch, Switch 2, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in 2027.
