Resident Evil 2 director Hideki Kamiya has shared his thoughts on the recent Resident Evil Requiem leaks that have seen spoilers spread like wildfire on social media ahead of the game's launch, calling it "a detestable act" that hurts the feelings of the creators.
The next mainline Resident Evil game doesn't officially release until later this week; however, early physical copies have been in the hands of some players for more than a week at this point, and some have been sharing spoilers online.
Last week, Capcom released a statement regarding the leaks and asked players not to share any details online before Requiem's launch, stating that its legal department will issue takedown notices to those who violate its request.
