The Final Fantasy XIV Letter from the Producer Live LXXXIX (89) just ended, and now we know when FFXIV patch 7.4 will debut and what it will contain. It is called “Into the Mist,” and that kicks off on December 16, 2025. We will see 7.38 appear before that on November 11, 2025, with that update removing AAC Cruiserweight Tier (Savage)’s weekly limit, letting us swap Ordelle and Montiont Coins for Evercharged Ester, and Return to Ivalice alliance raids getting new furniture.
First, here’s the exact schedule for the next three patches for FFXIV. This includes one in January 2026, though it wasn’t noted if that will be referred to as 7.41.
- November 11, 2025: 7.38
- December 16, 2025: 7.4
- January 6, 2026: The Arcadion Heavyweight Tier (Savage)
As for what to expect from Final Fantasy XIV patch 7.4, here’s a list of everything that will show up in FFXIV Dawntrail after that.

- Glamour Update will let any class, job, or level use any gear in Glamours. The slide did note there are limits to weapons and tools that means they “can only be equipped by the corresponding class.”

- Manderville Gold Saucer Game Air Force One Gets The Cieldalaes Track.
- New Cosmic Exploration Star with rewards: Oizys
- New Cosmic Tools level upgrade cap: 765
- New Craftable Gear

- New Frontier Map/Campaign: Worgor Chirteh
- New Main Scenario Quests (MSQ) “Into the Mist”
